ABOUT

Joie+Paix, pronounced jwiah+pay, is French for Joy and Peace.
Joy and peace are two adjectives that we so easily forget in this race of life. They are two emotions that have to be present in ourselves to truly love what we get to do and love on those who hire us to do it.
The French language and these two words were chosen because of the passion that the French have for art and beauty mixed with the emotion we all need in our businesses and lives. A love of France and a hope for joy and peace is what inspired this entire dream into a reality.

The heart of Joie+Paix was founded by Kelly Hornberger in 2006 and came to fruition through her eleven years in the wedding industry.

With a firm foundation of starting her business as an opportunity to love on young couples getting married, she aspires to help others around her in the industry fuel the reason behind their "why".

Published abundantly in magazines and blogs she has been honored to serve her couples and their families, and believes that there is much more to her business than simply taking photographs.

Mother of three boys, wife, business owner, artist & Texan. Kelly craves the thrill of travel and exploration with her family and friends while sipping champagne and listening to French music.
